Dear god the bunny from Zootopia is the cutest thing ever. I just saw the new trailer and she’s so adorable.
I kinda have a feeling this movie will be the same to the current generation what Disney’s Robin Hood was to mine. A lot of people will suddenly realize they have funny feelings for furry animals.

Small real life update: My wife and I got in a car accident. We’re both shaken up, but okay. Thankfully we weren’t hurt. My neck feels kinda stiff and her foot is hurting a bit, but it’s nothing we can’t deal with. Our car on the other hand didn’t fare as well, it looks pretty bad and we couldn’t get it to start. Highway patrol had to help pushing it out of the way and they called a tow truck for us. We’re still waiting to hear back from the insurance/mechanic about if it’s totalled or not. Here’s hoping we can get it repaired! Our poor car, we just got it a little bit over a year ago :( But yeh, apparently my wife made sure to get great insurance, so no matter what, we should be okay! That’s a big load off my mind.
Anyways, there’s a lot going on right now, we had to get a rental car because my wife needs to be able to drive for her business and things are understandably crazy right now. I probably won’t be available for the next few days, sorry about that!
But yeh, what a crazy experience, it all still feels so surreal, I was never involved in a car accident before. And I never saw so many first responders in person before. Please stay safe if you’re driving, it really doesn’t take a lot.
Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know, since I’ve been awfully quiet in general the last few days and it’ll continue to be quiet for a bit. I’ve been working hard on an upcoming comic and other pictures and I hope to have something for you guys soon! Thanks for the patience.

Ugh. One of the most fun parts about posting a new picture is reading the reblogs and comments to it on tumblr afterwards. I was wondering why nobody replied anything to the newest pictures, since usually a lot of you guys do say something about the pieces I post.
Until I remembered that tumblr assumed it’s a great idea to get rid of the comment feature a few days ago. I hope it gets replaced with something else soon. Apparently they promised the new feature is going to be better, but why would you get rid of the old one if you don’t immediately replace it?
I did a short Cadance / Shining Armor comic for the Playpony 3, sadly it’s exclusive content for the Playpony and I’m not allowed to post it. I’m sorry :( I’m not a huge fan of paywalls or exclusive content, because people are left out. That’s why my own solo content is always Pay What You Want and available for free if someone wants it for free. But if I’m part of a group project, I make compromises and follow what the group as a whole wants.

Ah, today’s episode was absolutely amazing. Such a great end to this particular storyline, so many emotions and everything. I’m really happy with the outcome and everything. Also both Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were absolutely cute and great. Definitely one of my favorite episodes of all seasons, it was beautiful.
I really like the designs, I wish I could say more, but I don’t wanna spoil too much stuff (even tho it’s all over the internet anyways.) Go watch the episode everyone!

Sex really is great. Once you had it like a few hundret times it becomes a thing that still is great, but you start to understand that it certainly isn’t everything. There are things that can be better than sex. Like ice cream or a nice vacation.

Sex is pretty great, especially with a person you’re very attracted to it’s very amazing and satisfying! But it’s definitely not the greatest thing in the world like it’s made out to be, at least for me. It ranks up there and is amongst my favorite things in life (but definitely not THE most favorite), but I think overall sex is overrated.
Like you said, the media, advertisement, games, everything is bombarding us with the idea of sex and how mind-blowingly amazing it is. And that often it’s the most important thing ever (or at least the driving force behind a storyline or something). Or like if someone doesn’t have had sex yet, that they’re missing out on something huge or that they’re somehow a loser. Or how the first time is always this super amazing magical thing, where both know what they’re doing and both have orgasms (even simultaneously!) and know exactly what their partner wants and likes. Please.
That’s definitely not true, and sex is kinda overhyped in mainstream media (and often misplaced, l dislike pointless and unnecessary side storylines about romance or sex in an action movie or a drama series, for example. It’s different if they are relevant to the whole story or a character arc, but a lot of times it’s just there because sex and love-triangle stuff sells. And it shows.) Which is funny, coming from someone who draws porn. Obviously sexuality is a very big thing in my life and it’s something very important to me and I’m very sex-positive. And I absolutely love sexy stuff. I have drawn porn hanging on my walls and everything. But the actual act of sex itself isn’t the ultimate answer to all questions and the one thing every human should aspire to achieve. Don’t be stressed out if you haven’t had sex yet, it’s not a measurement on how much you’re worth.

Because I enjoy it! Simple as that, haha. I draw what I like and I started drawing clop because I wanted to create things that don’t exist yet but that I’d like seeing. I remember that I wanted more AJ porn, but there wasn’t enough out there, so I just slowly started to draw my own!
And I think it’s the other way around, I didn’t start to draw clop with my ability, I gained my ability by starting to draw clop!
Oh yeh! I’m the same! And I’m so excited I found someone who agrees with me, haha. I always used the fork right-handed, even as a small kid, for exactly that reason. And my parents would always make fun of me for it while I was a kid. Switching the fork from left to right is the first thing I do if I sit down at a set table.
I’m pretty much self-taught. I, especially when I started out, watched a lot of art streams and read and watched a lot of tutorials. I tried to copy things other artists do and slowly adapted those methods into my own work flow. I used brush settings I saw online, but found out they don’t work that well for me, so I played around and switched things around until I was happy. I still change my brush settings and methods today on a regular basis. It’s always about adapting and finding new things that work better and that are more comfortable.
I also look at a lot of pictures in an active way, meaning when I see a picture (or even a photograph) I always identify what exactly I like about it, I look at shadows and shapes and try to recreate certain things in my mind. “How would I do this shading? How would I do this pose? How would I create this feeling? What colors do I like and what colors work here?” are things that go through my head. And if I really like something specific, like the way the head is done or the way they did the shading or something, I’ll try to incorporate that into my drawings and kinda put my own spin on it? A lot in art is about inspiration and finding your own style, find what you like and get inspiration from that, try to incorporate things you like into your art, sooner or later you’ll figure out what works for you and what doesn’t.
And most importantly: Draw. Draw a shit ton of stuff. It’s easy to read tutorials, watch some livestream and research things. But those things alone don’t make you a better artist. A lot of drawing will make you a better artist. I think it was Lauren Faust who said that everybody has 1,000 bad drawings in them, and they need to get them out before the good stuff starts to slowly emerge. Doodle whenever you can, draw whenever you have free time. And if you have some artist friends, ask them to redline and critique some of your drawings. That’s what helped me most out of all the things. Friends being honest and critiquing my stuff when I asked them and good artist friends redlining my sketches so I had a visual aid to what I could do better.
I want to take some art classes sooner or later, and I’m sure having some educational background about art is helpful, but no matter if you’re self-taught or not, you’ll always have to do your own research and figure some things out yourself, I think. But there definitely have been times where I wished that I was taught stuff like color theory or proper technique by someone without having to figure out things slowly by myself.
I’m not sure if I always used the left hand. But I know for sure, that when I was younger, I masturbated to a lot of stuff on the computer. And I was unable to handle the mouse with my left hand, so I remember that I thought it was pretty convenient that I masturbate with left. It leaves my right hand to browse the computer and stuff. The way I see it, you found something you love so much that you want to live for it, in this case MLP. Now try to imagine how many things are out there, how many things that you will never, ever know even exist. There are countless pieces of art, books, movies, tv shows, songs, landscapes, animals, plants, activities and interests out there. For example, you could literally spend the rest of your life reading books and do nothing else and you still wouldn’t have read every book in existence. How many of those books that you’re gonna read do you think will touch you? With how many of those books will you fall in love? I’m pretty sure the odds are huge that there are hundreds, if not thousands of things out there that you want to live for. You just have to go find them.
If a certain aspect of a thing make you depressed, I’d try to ignore that part (in this case the fandom) as much as possible. I stopped reading certain forums or comments, because I just started to hate the community, for example. I’d try to fill the void that this leaves with something positive and new. Try out a whole bunch of new things, go read a book or start a new tv show, or go take up some classes at a community college or find a crazy hobby you might like. Chances are it won’t be long until you’ve found something else that makes you want to live. So you’ll have MLP plus this new thing, and can start to ignore the toxic and negative parts of MLP, since you’ll have something else that catches your attention.

The world is your oyster right now! Go do something awesome, have fun and enjoy life. If you think life is not worth living anymore, that means there’s nothing holding you back anymore, do something you always wanted to do or just something crazy. Move across the country, go skydiving, drive to Vegas and bet everything you have on black, take out a loan and travel to the first country you see on a map, do some crazy shit and explore the world.
The world is beautiful, it’s hard to see sometimes, I know, I’ve been there. But keep in mind, that no matter how dark it is right now, if you keep going one day you will look back at today and be thankful that you kept going. In ten years, today will just be a distant memory and you’ll be in a better place.

Regarding that discussion, I also personally think that masturbation is something completely detached and different than sex. I don’t think masturbation is there to replace or imitate sex, it’s its own thing with its own desires and satisfactions. Masturbation is part of your sex life and in my opinion pretty important. I don’t think it can (and should) be replaced by sex (or the other way around). But again, different tastes and opinions. I know some people who quit masturbating when they’re in a sexual relationship. (Or even demand of their partner that they quit masturbating because of insecurities or jealousy, like wtf?!) I’m different than that, because I think masturbation is an important part of sexual health, as long as you don’t completely overdo it, but that goes for everything.
So when I said “it’s not comparable” I’m not grading it or saying anything about quality or if it’s better/worse than actual sex, I’m saying it’s on a completely different playing field. It’s like comparing Football to Soccer. Both are played on a grassy surface, but they have completely different stadiums, rulesets, players, play time and goals.
I think for me nothing comes even close to the warmth of an actual vagina. Not even considering all the other things that are going on in real sex. But everybody has different tastes and opinions, as long as you find something that you enjoy!
