omg, Rat finally finished some art? And it’s not pony?! Is it the end of the world?
Long overdue bunny waifu picture! I tried a couple of new things with this one, I’m not quite sure yet if they work out or not. But I hope you guys enjoy the picture nonetheless!
The scene in the picture is supposed to take place after the events of the movie. Nick and Judy are helping out Judy’s parents with taking care of a small produce stand on a weekend or something. And Nick decided to mess with her after she started teasing him or something!
It was a huge honor to draw something for JJ, he’s actually one of the reasons why I started drawing pony in the first place and has been an inspiration over the years! And since he likes butts and Appledash, drawing this picture seemed very fitting. I realized I haven’t drawn those two together in ages. It was long overdue!
Big thanks to Calpain for commissioning this, it was fun to draw and it meant a lot to me. Also huge thanks (and happy birthday!) to JJ @lovetomorrowlove for all his great content over the years. Especially for all the butts and boobs!
I'm rather indifferent to who people claim to be best pony. Each have their own reasons; for me it's Luna because to me she's misunderstood and I can relate to that, and because she's beautiful. Now, I don't think I've heard why your favourite pony is Applejack/why you call her best pony? Would you mind shedding some light on why you like her so much?

I’ve been asked why I like AJ best before, but it’s been a while since I answered it, so here we go! Random things that come to mind when I think about AJ:
Applejack is dependable and hardworking, two traits that I greatly admire. I myself am not too dependable and I’m rather lazy, so I try to be a better person. So basically she’s a bit of a rolemodel for me.
I absolutely love strong female characters. No matter what franchise.
She’s the only pony who wants to attend the Gala in Season 1 not for personal gain, but to help her family. But she’s also the first pony who offers to give up her ticket when she sees how uncomfortable it makes Twilight to chose one of her friends.
She’s incredibly supportive, always encouraging all of her friends. Sometimes even after the other friends have given up on them, like with Fluttershy when the group travels up the mountain to confront the dragon.
She doesn’t hesitate a second to risk her life to save Spike from the Timberwolves, even after she gets trapped, the only thing she cares about is getting Spike to safety.
Her accent is incredibly cute.
I really love her colors, orange is my favorite color.
Freckles.
She wears a hat!
She’s the only one to apologize to Twilight after she turned against her during the wedding.
She offered to go win a competition to help raise money for Ponyville, even tho nobody expected her to. And when she didn’t win the competition, she decided to took a job to make money, because she made a promise.
She would never cheat, not even when her entire livelihood was at stake.
Back during Season 1 and 2 she didn’t have as much screentime as the other mane six, making her kinda the underdog and people didn’t like her as much as the other ponies, which in turn just made me like her more.
Similarly Applejack is (even to this day) often left out of official merchandise. She’s the only mane six pony that wasn’t in this year’s McDonald’s Happy Meal toys, even tho three background characters where available too. Similar things happened in earlier years. Also a lot of the time when you see some official merchandise like a mug or a bedsheet, Applejack is missing. She really got the short end of the stick until the amazing Sweet Apple Acres toyline was released a few months ago. 5 years after the show first aired. Applejack seems to be underappreciated, which I try to balance out a bit by gushing about her a lot and drawing her a lot, I guess?
I remember back in the days, porn of Applejack was super rare. That’s one of the reasons why I started drawing her a lot, to overcompensate for people who don’t like her as much. Nowadays pictures of AJ are not that rare anymore, but I never lost my love for her, so I just keep drawing what I love, even tho it might not be “needed” as much anymore.

So yeh, for some she might be worst pony or background pony, for some she’s best pony. But in the end, she’s a better person than I could ever be. And that’s why I like her so much.
I think @murderousart and @ratofponi finally gave me a chance to flex any resemblance of a purpose my alias had and why I picked it. Go team Applejack!

So happy to see there are quite a lot of people who love her as well. She definitely needs to be appreciated more. I’d be all up for a draw Applejack contest as suggested, but maybe once I’m not that busy anymore? :D The world needs more AJ art! Flood Derpibooru with glorious Applejack!
February’s patreon picture! My patreon supporter voted on me drawing a pony of my choice that I’ve never drawn before for this month. And I chose Candy Apples. I hope you guys like the pictures, I tried a bunch of subtle new things on some parts!
Ok, so, back in 2014 I found a random link that said dolphin’s genitalia and teats are all like hidden in one single fold of skin and posted this info on my tumblr cause I thought it was weird and hilarious that the teats are literally in the same spot as the anus and the vagina, makes for awkward nursing.
Anyways, turned out that this info was wrong, and that female dolphins have the teats in two separate folds next to the the genital skin fold, and some of my followers corrected me and educated me and I got a lot of super interesting (and weird) info about dolphins, full with detailed diagrams and photographs, which I ended up posting. It was amazing. And I’m sure I mentally scarred some of the people who were just following me for horse smut. Sorry!
And so a day later I decided to put my newfound knowledge to use and drew my first and only cartoon dolphin smut!
I don’t like cluttering my blog here with random questions and interactions too much and rather use it for important stuff and art. Nah, of course not, don’t worry! <3 The pony posts weren’t halted when I liked Blue from Jurassic Park either. Or random fox OC early last year. Or feral rats from not too long ago. Or that weird phase where I was into dolphins…
Just means that I’ll probably doodle her once or twice while I find some free time to do so in between all the pony pics. Speaking of which, I’ll have a new pony pic ready to post tomorrow. Stay tuned!
Hey Brae, it's the guy who asked about the concept of "gay". I wanna rephrase the question to narrow down what I meant the first time: How should I approach the idea of love, as in looking for and finding a partner and developing relationships?
I’d say not to look for love. Instead, look for friends.
If you go looking for love, every little relationship you enter will have that pressure of an end goal. So make friends instead! Not aloof perfect gorgeous beings you want to see yourself married to, but people who you like hanging out and playing video games with. People you can walk around with in Walmart for an hour and have a surprisingly great time. Work to make friends, not potential future lovers. Then later, maybe that friend you’ve had forever actually ends being the one you wanna be with.
So, yeah! Don’t start by flirting, don’t start by sorting by appearance. Start by finding people you just naturally like talking to, I think!
Can confirm. I found love when I stopped looking for it. Friends are also more valuable than potential romantic interests. And it’s definitely not too rare that love develops out of a close friendship. Just don’t go into a friendship hoping for it to develop into a romantic relationship.
As for the Walmart part, that’s what struck a chord with me and made me reblog this. I realized I found someone really special in the woman I ended up marrying when we were walking around in a Walmart at midnight and were having an amazing time. And to this day, every time we go grocery shopping or doing some other mundane everyday life stuff we’re still having a great time. Because I got married to one of my best friends. And seriously, when a friendship doesn’t end up turning into a romantic relationship, that’s no loss at all. You’ll have something invaluable and powerful, a real friendship.
I never quite understood the people who formed a romantic relationship with someone they wouldn’t want to be friends with in the first place. And sadly that’s awfully common.
