Both doodles took approximately the same amount of time. There’s no such thing as talent, it’s just about drawing as much as possible.
I kinda wish I would’ve listened to the people who said you have to draw every single day. I wonder where I would be now, I didn’t get serious about drawing a lot until 2014.
Anyways, I thought the parallels between those two pictures were interesting, I hope you guys think so too!
My best friend just sent me this. It’s a picture I drew on a post-it note and sent her on November 11, 2011. Back then we were sending each other silly emails (and sometimes drawings) to make the dull work days more bearable.
I almost died of cringe when I saw it, haha. And yes, all of my drawings back then looked like that, some are even worse and I pray the world shall never see them.

Oh yeh, I don’t know if any of you guys are actually interested, but I started using my twitter 2 days ago, after I left it unused for years.

I did something SFW (weird, I know) for Babscon to advertise their Valentine’s Day event!
Babscon is a really great and fun convention in the San Francisco Bay Area, the first two years were amazing and I’m really looking forward to going for the third time. I’ll be vending there and hitting up the room parties and everything again, as well. I hope to see and say hi to a lot of you guys again this year. Anyways, check out their website and stuff!

Each month, the people who support me on patreon provide a bunch of ideas and then vote on them to decide what kind of picture I draw for them that month. By popular vote in January, it was decided that I should draw Countess Coloratura from S05E24 The Mane Attraction. So I did! I had an absolute blast drawing her, I love drawing ponies I haven’t drawn before and playing around with the effects was so much fun. I hope you guys like it!
Some joking around in the stream while I drew this sparked the JJ Lensflare Edit. Her cutiemark is supposed to be glowing like in the episode.

So for the longest time I’ve wanted to make something for @ratofponi in return for being such a massive inspiration to me, but I wasn’t sure what to make; just drawing AJ felt too impersonal since it would just be another picture of AJ among many. BUT, seeing the pics from the most recent convention gave me this idea, and I suppose the rest is history.
Oh wow, that’s absolutely amazing! Teats, amazing applejack butt, and a dripping wet rat going to town on AJ, I don’t think it could be any more personal than that. It’s like you took a snapshot of my twisted mind and made a picture out of it, haha.

I got the OK to post the exclusive piece I did for The Pony Plot Book 2015 for you guys!
I drew it back in September 2015 and I’m pretty proud of it, since even tho it’s a standard plot shot, I tried something new with the perspective and drew something I haven’t really drawn before. So I’m super excited I can show you guys!

Sadly I’m quite busy with a lot of projects and commissions that are overdue and need to get done. But it would be cool to do a redraw in April, I drew my first pony picture in April 2011 (even tho I didn’t get serious about drawing until 2013). So it would be a nice anniversary thing. I’ll see what I can do!
I’d have trouble deciding which picture to redraw, though. There are so many that I like and would love to see done better!

Yeh, I noticed! It’s been a problem of mine for a long while now, it’s hard breaking out of my comfort zone, but I’m trying. It doesn’t help that there are only so many ways to show off genitals, haha, but yeah, I definitely need to push myself more. I’m working on a big comic and I’m trying lots of different angles and poses there!

I realized my ask box was deactivated, oops, sorry about that! It’s open again! I hope nobody tried to send me an ask in the past few days.
Some of the swag I got during the con! I got lucky and was able to commission one of my favorite artists to draw a feral rat for me, I just love how it turned out. It’s kinda become a tradition of mine to get a feral rat commissioned at every furry con I’m at, here’s hoping I can keep it going!
The print with the dogs on it says “Branch Manager” for the left one, and the right one wears a collar that says “Assistant Branch Manager”. I love puns too much, so I had to get it. The matted picture on the top with the foxes was a piece from the art show that I was able to get the winning bid on!
But yeh, it was such a fun con, I saw a couple of great Undertale cosplayers, hugged a nice Asgore fursuit, took a silly picture with an amazing Sans and there was a very fun Papyrus running around the con, just being cool and flexing for everyone. I was kinda surprised nobody was carrying around a potted plant. I really want to replay Undertale now.
The room parties were amazing, the Klingons were super fun and full of yelling as usual (I hope they’ll return for Babscon this year) and there was a great Fallout themed room party, old music playing, old nuclear instruction videos running on the TV, all kind of Fallout related posters and decorations and the bartender was dressed like he jumped straight out of the 50s. It was amazing. I got the nuclear bomb shaped shot glass from there.
I also went to a couple of really interesting panels (I saw a real Fennec!), did a lot of drawing and met a lot of really cool people, which was amazing. Thanks so much to everyone who hung out with me or said hi and talked to me, I can’t express enough times how much I appreciate it.
Anyways, enough blabbering on, I’m gonna go do some drawing now. I’ll be streaming tomorrow at noon PST!
Some of the sketches I did at FurCon! I gave them away to wonderful people I met at the con. Sorry for the very similar poses and everything, traditional media is way out of my comfort zone and I’m slowly trying to produce acceptable results with pen and paper. I miss undo and ctrl+t so much when I’m not sketching at the computer, haha.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy them! I had a surprising amount of fun drawing traditionally.
Thanks again to everyone who talked to me at the con and said hi, I really appreciate it and you guys are all absolutely awesome. Also all my art in the art show was sold, and I’m so happy about that, it’s still hard to believe that people actually appreciate my art and I’m super thankful.
