Small real life update: My wife and I got in a car accident. We’re both shaken up, but okay. Thankfully we weren’t hurt. My neck feels kinda stiff and her foot is hurting a bit, but it’s nothing we can’t deal with. Our car on the other hand didn’t fare as well, it looks pretty bad and we couldn’t get it to start. Highway patrol had to help pushing it out of the way and they called a tow truck for us. We’re still waiting to hear back from the insurance/mechanic about if it’s totalled or not. Here’s hoping we can get it repaired! Our poor car, we just got it a little bit over a year ago :( But yeh, apparently my wife made sure to get great insurance, so no matter what, we should be okay! That’s a big load off my mind.
Anyways, there’s a lot going on right now, we had to get a rental car because my wife needs to be able to drive for her business and things are understandably crazy right now. I probably won’t be available for the next few days, sorry about that!
But yeh, what a crazy experience, it all still feels so surreal, I was never involved in a car accident before. And I never saw so many first responders in person before. Please stay safe if you’re driving, it really doesn’t take a lot.
Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know, since I’ve been awfully quiet in general the last few days and it’ll continue to be quiet for a bit. I’ve been working hard on an upcoming comic and other pictures and I hope to have something for you guys soon! Thanks for the patience.

I didn’t realize this was a thing until someone told me in my stream. I listened through the album once and then had to just buy it. It’s super cute, so I wanted to share it, in case some of you haven’t heard of it either!
Oh my god, check out what I got today! It’s Art of Equestria, an absolutely beautiful art book. It’s full of concept sketches and lots of behind the scenes stuff. Also lots of production notes and sketches from Lauren Faust herself. I’ll have to get it signed by her at the next Babscon! Seriously, the book is gorgeous, full of so many awesome things. Each pony has its own few pages, there are chapters on villains, side characters, locations, etc. It’s very big and has even Season 5 stuff in it. I’m super impressed, I can’t stop looking at it!
At the end of the book are a few fanart pieces that were published by WeLoveFine, one of them is a Twilight by @nsfwkevinsano. How awesome is that? I’m envious.
Also did you see that super cute Applejack with the saddle in the third picture?
Ugh. One of the most fun parts about posting a new picture is reading the reblogs and comments to it on tumblr afterwards. I was wondering why nobody replied anything to the newest pictures, since usually a lot of you guys do say something about the pieces I post.
Until I remembered that tumblr assumed it’s a great idea to get rid of the comment feature a few days ago. I hope it gets replaced with something else soon. Apparently they promised the new feature is going to be better, but why would you get rid of the old one if you don’t immediately replace it?
Since I really love AJ, thankfully the commissioner of the previous piece was ok with me doing a quick AJ edit as a treat to myself. Enjoy! Happy Halloween!
I also noticed that AJ’s costume in the episode is actually a male lion, she’s crossdressing. I kinda wanna draw her in this costume with a lion dick strapon dildo, now!
Halloween commission for DASPRiD, his OC Tracy Swift! The costume is inspired by AJ’s costume from the Nightmare Night episode. I had a blast drawing this, I tried a couple of new things with the colors and everything. So much fun!

So, xchan uploaded the photograph above on derpibooru and I thought it was absolutely amazing and I wanted to share it with you guys! It’s based upon the drawing that I did a year ago. I’m so happy someone made this idea real! I always wanted to do it myself, but Halloween is a very busy season for me, so I never had the chance. I’m really glad someone else did it. And it turned out great!

Blech! I really hate moving.
Some quick and rough vent-art. (High res here) My wife and I are in the process of moving right now, we’ll have the moving truck tomorrow so we’re just finishing up moving the small stuff and packing up everything. I don’t think I’ve ever packed so many boxes in my life. We only live in a tiny studio, and yet somehow we managed to amass a huge amount of stuff. It’s insane!
Anyways, I’m going to be gone from the computer from now until after I’ve settled down in the new place in a couple of days. I’m still monitoring my email and skype on my phone, so if there’s something important, just drop me an email or an ask or something!
Also, I apologize for not posting any art in the last few weeks, preparing for the move took way more time than I anticipated. Plus most of the time not preparing for the move has been spent working on a huge Soarin/Spitfire/Rainbow Dash comic, which should be finished next week, hopefully! I’m super excited about it, and I hope you guys will enjoy it, too. It’s about 50% longer than any of my previous comics (Soft as Snow and Spilled Apples) and I can’t wait to finally show it to you guys. It’s the first time I’ve drawn so much straight sex! I think some of the panels are super hot. It will be released in a Pay What You Want format, just like my other comics, so you’ll be able to grab it for free or drop me a buck or two to support me and help recoup some of the moving costs, if you’d like! Also as usual, the biggest supporters will get some nice swag (a pre-print of an Applejack or Twilight Sparkle Dakimakura in this case!)
Anyways, stay tuned for this new comic, plus I have a couple of fun commissions and this month’s patreon picture in the pipeline, those should also be finished soon after I’m back from moving!

Hey Rat, I used one of your lewd pieces as a reference for some naughty bits on an Epona sketch and it bears a little bit of resemblance to your great art. I’m making sure its alright with you before I post it to derpi in case someone flags it or complains. If you’re not ok with it I won’t post it. Thanks man!
Hey! That looks absolutely awesome! I always loved the idea of Epona as a pony. It looks great! And I don’t mind at all, using references is nothing bad at all. It makes you a better artist! As long as it’s not traced, there’s nothing shameful about it at all. Feel free to post it on Derpi! And I’m flattered that you’d use my art as a reference for the naughty bits. They look sweet and to be honest, if someone would’ve showed me that picture without context, I wouldn’t have realized it!
If someone complains about you being inspired by someone else’s art and using it as a reference, slap them with a horse dildo. Seriously. Every artist uses references. No one should expect an artist to create something only out of their own mind all the time. As long as you don’t trace, there’s nothing wrong with it. Using references helps you growing as an artist and you learn new things. Just don’t make a carbon copy of the whole thing you’re referencing, what’s the point in completely duplicating something that already exists, after all. Always try to put your own spin on it. Like here, using a reference to help out with a small part of a bigger image is completely okay and I’d say even encouraged. I use references all the time, and I’ve developed “my” style of genitals because I really liked how kevinsano and braeburned are doing things. So I used their art as a reference in the beginning, then I also started looking at real photographs to get another idea and added certain elements I like about the human anatomy until everything kinda mashed together into something I like personally.
Using references and getting inspirations from other pictures or photographs or real life is absolutely normal. I’m sure you also googled a picture of a carrot to draw that one carrot lying on the floor, no? If not then I’m really impressed by your mental image of carrots, haha. My mental image of things suck. In general most humans are horrible at remembering things correctly. Ever tried drawing a bicycle without looking at a picture of one? You’d think it wouldn’t be that difficult, after all we all see a bicycle many, many times in our lives, maybe even rode on one for years in our life. Hell, I couldn’t draw my phone completely accurately without looking at it, and I stare at that thing for hours every single day.
Eeeeeee! So cute! AJ truly was the cutest baby. First “Appufwittes?” and now that. Hng! I’m glad she didn’t have those weird eyes that the Cake babies have.
But yeh, cute episode! Lots of funny faces. And I kinda feel like drawing some pregnant Cadance, now. Could be interesting.
Actual dialog between Callisto and me:
Me: “Wanna watch the new pony episode? We’re gonna see Cadance and Shining make a baby!”
Her: “We’re gunna see them make a baby?!”
Me: “Well, I hope!”
Sadly I was disappointed. Someone should draw that! I saw one of my Shining/Cadance pictures got tagged as spoiler S05E19 by someone for a short period of time after the episode! Made me laugh. But sadly it doesn’t fit in the established timeframe, since my picture is their wedding night, and now the baby announcement was at least a few months later, if not more.
