Berry Inviting

A fulfilled request! After last week’s draw!

I have always been a fan of @ratofponi‘s butt posters and decided to give the look a try! I think berry turned out pretty well!

Also huge thanks to Rat for critiquing my work as well as giving the suggestion of the double vision version! Which was a spark of brilliance!

Both are on Derpibooru in Full Res if you would like to fetch it: [Berry Butt] [Butt with Double Vision]

Enjoy

~Dogg

Check it out, my butt posters are becoming a thing with other artists! Turned out awesome, Dogg! I’m happy you liked my double vision idea! Love what you did with the front legs and everything. The drunkenness really comes across. And the cork is great!

ask-wbm replied to your post “To the Anon who asked if sex really is the greatest thing in the world…”
Sex really is great. Once you had it like a few hundret times it becomes a thing that still is great, but you start to understand that it certainly isn’t everything. There are things that can be better than sex. Like ice cream or a nice vacation.

Yes, so much! I’m amazed how you’re able to put what I tried to say in a huge wall of text into four sentences, haha.

To the Anon who asked if sex really is the greatest thing in the world (Sorry, since your question was multiple asks I can’t really publish them together. Also if you want me to answer in more detail and private, you’ll have to send me an ask non-anonymously):

Sex is pretty great, especially with a person you’re very attracted to it’s very amazing and satisfying! But it’s definitely not the greatest thing in the world like it’s made out to be, at least for me. It ranks up there and is amongst my favorite things in life (but definitely not THE most favorite), but I think overall sex is overrated.

Like you said, the media, advertisement, games, everything is bombarding us with the idea of sex and how mind-blowingly amazing it is. And that often it’s the most important thing ever (or at least the driving force behind a storyline or something). Or like if someone doesn’t have had sex yet, that they’re missing out on something huge or that they’re somehow a loser. Or how the first time is always this super amazing magical thing, where both know what they’re doing and both have orgasms (even simultaneously!) and know exactly what their partner wants and likes. Please.

That’s definitely not true, and sex is kinda overhyped in mainstream media (and often misplaced, l dislike pointless and unnecessary side storylines about romance or sex in an action movie or a drama series, for example. It’s different if they are relevant to the whole story or a character arc, but a lot of times it’s just there because sex and love-triangle stuff sells. And it shows.) Which is funny, coming from someone who draws porn. Obviously sexuality is a very big thing in my life and it’s something very important to me and I’m very sex-positive. And I absolutely love sexy stuff. I have drawn porn hanging on my walls and everything. But the actual act of sex itself isn’t the ultimate answer to all questions and the one thing every human should aspire to achieve. Don’t be stressed out if you haven’t had sex yet, it’s not a measurement on how much you’re worth.

I hope that helped! Ah so many people asking for advice or my thoughts on something, I feel like I should open a separate blog for that. Ratvice or something! I hope I’m not annoying you guys who’re just here for the colorful smut. I like sharing my thoughts and trying to be helpful!

Shout out to the guy who works at Little Cesar and enables my wife’s pizza addiction! I’m amazed that someone local follows my tumblr. (And actually recognized my wife and her pony shirt.) You’re awesome!

I have a rather... strange request. Remember that vibrator you drew for Twilight in the beach wallpaper? Would you mind making a quick edit for your recent Twilight-Sleeping-On-Books drawing with that vibrator strapped to her hind leg or something, and slipped inside her vag? Thanks for your time. Keep being awesome.
ratofponi ratofponi Said:

Sure! It’s really just a quick edit tho, I haven’t had time for more. I hope you like it, tho!

High res here!

Hey Rat! Don't know if ya noticed, but both those twilight links lead to the same non-WS pic!
ratofponi ratofponi Said:

Oh, oops! I’m sorry. I edited the post, here’s the WS link.

Thanks for letting me know!

Watersports version, as requested. I hope book covers in Equestria are waterproof, otherwise she’s going to be upset once she wakes up!

High res here!

September’s patreon picture! My patreons voted upon what to draw for this month, and this idea (also by one of my patreons) won:

Twilight Sparkle sleeping on a pile of books, like in Princess Spike episode, looking cute having arousing dreams, winking and moist. Maybe peeing in her sleep.

So here it is! Enjoy! I tried a couple of new things with it, I hope you guys like it. And I hope the little easter egg is appreciated, I really love Velvet, she’s adorable and I’m sure I’ll draw her again in the future!

High res here.

If you’d like to vote on what pictures I draw next, please consider supporting me on patreon, every little bit is highly appreciated!

Keeping myself anonymous... but I saw that you've been giving people some inspirational words and I myself was wondering if I can get in on that. my world feels black and white and I don't ever feel happy anymore. I feel like I'm bad at everything I do and that I'm going nowhere in life. Honestly... I just feel useless. (I know you're not a therapist or anything, just hoping I can get some inspirational talk from my fav artist. I would talk to friends but I lack those. Which is mostly my fault.)

Rattadoc’s pep talk is pretty fantastic, I don’t have anything to add to it (not that anyone asked me to add anything to it), but one thing I want to share is that depression can’t always be cured with positive thoughts and a positive view in life alone - in a lot of cases, you need to seek professional help and maybe medication as a part of that.

It’s a shitty disease that eats away at your soul because even if you choose to be positive and change your lifestyle and things are looking like they’re improving - wham, it hits you and then all of your effort is rewarded with more feelings of inadequacy, because you’re trying harder and better and yet nothing seems to improve.

Truth is, if you’re feeling like this, it might be time to see a professional about it.

I’ve been trying to do this for years, so I can stop feeling miserable myself. After suffering from on-and-off depression the last… what, 10 years? Every time I’ve felt like I had broken through, that I’d found my motivation, that I finally beat what was holding me down, it whacked me again not long after and it left me more and more jaded, more and more helpless.

So seek help if you think it’s something you can’t beat alone. There’s no shame in that - it took me way too long to to understand that.

Good words!

I should have mentioned more about depression and not just glanced over it in one sentence. Depression is a very sneaky and serious disease. And like limw says, there’s nothing to be ashamed about, seeking professional help is nothing bad and is in no way admitting defeat. And depression doesn’t mean that you’re constantly sad, more often than not it shows itself by a lack of interest and a lack of caring about things instead. I know of cases where people were surprised by the depression diagnosis they got, but in hindsight it made sense to them. In my opinion talking to a professional is a pretty good idea and won’t hurt.

Why did you choose to draw clop with your ability. I don't mind because I'm a pretty big clopper myself just wondering.
ratofponi ratofponi Said:

Because I enjoy it! Simple as that, haha. I draw what I like and I started drawing clop because I wanted to create things that don’t exist yet but that I’d like seeing. I remember that I wanted more AJ porn, but there wasn’t enough out there, so I just slowly started to draw my own!

And I think it’s the other way around, I didn’t start to draw clop with my ability, I gained my ability by starting to draw clop!

I too am a left-fapper but what about using knife and fork? You're expected to switch your fork to the left hand when using both which I find very weird. I always keep the fork on the right, what about you?
ratofponi ratofponi Said:

Oh yeh! I’m the same! And I’m so excited I found someone who agrees with me, haha. I always used the fork right-handed, even as a small kid, for exactly that reason. And my parents would always make fun of me for it while I was a kid. Switching the fork from left to right is the first thing I do if I sit down at a set table.

Hey, Rat! Are you entirely self-taught, or do you have any formal art training? And do you have any tips for someone hoping to become a purveyor of smut like you?
ratofponi ratofponi Said:

I’m pretty much self-taught. I, especially when I started out, watched a lot of art streams and read and watched a lot of tutorials. I tried to copy things other artists do and slowly adapted those methods into my own work flow. I used brush settings I saw online, but found out they don’t work that well for me, so I played around and switched things around until I was happy. I still change my brush settings and methods today on a regular basis. It’s always about adapting and finding new things that work better and that are more comfortable.

I also look at a lot of pictures in an active way, meaning when I see a picture (or even a photograph) I always identify what exactly I like about it, I look at shadows and shapes and try to recreate certain things in my mind. “How would I do this shading? How would I do this pose? How would I create this feeling? What colors do I like and what colors work here?” are things that go through my head. And if I really like something specific, like the way the head is done or the way they did the shading or something, I’ll try to incorporate that into my drawings and kinda put my own spin on it? A lot in art is about inspiration and finding your own style, find what you like and get inspiration from that, try to incorporate things you like into your art, sooner or later you’ll figure out what works for you and what doesn’t.

And most importantly: Draw. Draw a shit ton of stuff. It’s easy to read tutorials, watch some livestream and research things. But those things alone don’t make you a better artist. A lot of drawing will make you a better artist. I think it was Lauren Faust who said that everybody has 1,000 bad drawings in them, and they need to get them out before the good stuff starts to slowly emerge. Doodle whenever you can, draw whenever you have free time. And if you have some artist friends, ask them to redline and critique some of your drawings. That’s what helped me most out of all the things. Friends being honest and critiquing my stuff when I asked them and good artist friends redlining my sketches so I had a visual aid to what I could do better.

I want to take some art classes sooner or later, and I’m sure having some educational background about art is helpful, but no matter if you’re self-taught or not, you’ll always have to do your own research and figure some things out yourself, I think. But there definitely have been times where I wished that I was taught stuff like color theory or proper technique by someone without having to figure out things slowly by myself.
