Holy fuck so many people thinking the gif is real. It probably doesn’t help that people are reblogging it without my comment that identifies it as a photoshop.
Tumblr users are gullible as hell.
I already saw the first “fuck you ubisoft, pandering to Bronies” comment.
And someone claimed they found the same thing ingame. I can’t.

Edit: (Since it’s apparently not obvious: That’s photoshopped by me, it said something more innocent ingame. Even though there are a lot of references to internet culture, hardcore fetishes, hentai and even rape, I haven’t found something MLP related yet.)
I really like the game, it’s so much fun. And during night or when it rains it just looks gorgeous, prettier than anything I’ve seen before, gamewise.
And the whole invading player multiplayer thing is a lot of fun and fits nicely into the singleplayer. It also makes you paranoid and as if you’re being constantly watched by another player that lurks in the shadow or in a car somewhere. It really fits the overall theme of constant surveillance that the game has going on. Seriously, I keep watching over my shoulder or hacking CCTV to scan the crowds for a player invading my game all the time. And finding an enemy player who’s tailing or hacking you and shooting him in the face is most satisfying.
Making .gifs is fun. I could’ve looped it better, but there are so many idle animations the characters cycle through, it was difficult finding something acceptable.

I’m supposed to work on more or less important and productive stuff, but instead I waste my time trying out new head shapes and drawing cum until 4AM in the morning.
My procrastination has reached a whole new level. Instead of drawing stuff, I’m drawing other stuff.
Anyways, I promise there will be some “real” new artwork soon! But good night for now!

It was pretty fun and frustrating at the same time. I really wanna experiment more with animations, but time is pretty tight at the moment, I’m working on a lot of different projects. Hopefully I’ll find some time for it soon, though.

Due to some extraordinary circumstances my wife and I won’t be at home from now until sunday night. I’ll have a laptop and my tablet with me, but I’m not sure how well that will work out, so I sadly have to put a temporary hold on my art until I’m back! I hope I’ll be able to produce some stuff while I’m gone, but I don’t want to promise anything.
Which means that my commissions are also on ice for the next four days. I’m so sorry for the added wait.
For the good news, I have three pictures in various states of “finished soon”, so once I’m back I’ll be releasing lots of new stuff very soon. Also, if you’re interested in my SFW art, I posted some new things on my deviantart and also uploaded my Babscon prints there.
Again, I’m so sorry for being slow and lazy and sorry for the additional wait time.
My wife and I decided to celebrate the whole week leading up to each other’s birthdays. And since hers is this Saturday, I wanted to start off the week with a small picture! She really enjoyed this little scene in S04E13. Imagining Applejack being stuck is always fun.

I use a Intuos5 to draw and usually draw completely in SAI, for some effects or sometimes for coloring I use Photoshop, though! I usually shade on a Layer Mask (Clipping Group in SAI) over the whole image in a nice color on multiply. Warm colors for warm feelings, cooler colors for cold feelings, usually I decide on a nice purple, for AJ a subtle red goes really well, tho! I’m not that good at explaining things, so have some pictures that explain how Masks and Multiply work:

Shading layer above the whole drawing group. To prevent me from coloring over the area and into the background, I use the mask feature, which does that:
Shading confined in the right area. I do the same for highlights and everything else that isn’t an outline or a flat color.
If we set the shading layer to multiply, we turn that huge purple blob into a more purplish version of the color underlying it:
And voila, shading complete!
Sometimes I use different shading colors for different areas of the picture, but I think for most situations this method is easy and fast while still producing good results. I then smooth the shading out where it needs to be smoother, hard edges where something is casting a hard shadow, secondary light sources, reflections, etc. But that’s the basic method I start with.
I hope that was helpful!
Important: If you shade try to avoid any color involving grey (or even straight black). For highlights also try to avoid straight white. Be creative with your colors! Be bold! I’m nowhere near as bold with my colors as I should be, I’m trying, tho!

Back from Babscon. It was amazing, and finally got to visit my friend RatofPoni and Callisto for the first time. They surprised me with a print with the words “Hope the stress of the con didn’t SWALLOW you whole” Haha man, I love it.
It was great finally meeting you! And your reaction was amazing, too.
He kinda did a double take and then just started laughing while giving me a “I see what you did there” look. <3 Also why is there a comma after “con”, apparently I was so tired I couldn’t even write.
Babscon was amazing! I’m dead tired and it’s back to work tomorrow morning. But you can expect some new art soon!
I met so many amazing and incredibly nice people, it was great. A lot of people came to say hi and I was overwhelmed by how many people recognized my art and complimented me on it. Big thanks to all of you! I ran out of all of my 500 Business/Collectors Card sometime Sunday noon. And I was afraid I ordered way too many, they were insanely popular.
I was so completely exhausted the whole weekend though, so I wasn’t really socializing that much, sorry if I seemed a bit absent. But I was able to say hi to pretty much everyone I wanted to and even had the chance to meet Ashleigh Ball! I gave her one of my prints as a present and she was really sweet. I’m so glad I was finally able to talk a bit with her.
I also had a really short conversation with Tara Strong in the hallways and Nicole Oliver walked by our table and said hi, which was great!
My wife and I also got the most incredible wedding gift from Tsitra, it’s traditionally drawn and it just looks gorgeous. The reference is both subtle and incredibly obvious at the same time. I love it, it’s the perfect gift!
I had lots of fun on my first experience as a vendor and I’ll definitely sell at cons again! I regret a bit that I wasn’t able to meet up for any after parties or anything. Hopefully the next time we can focus solely on the con experience and don’t have to juggle so many things besides the con.
I’m really happy that most of my prints were popular and I got some much needed experience on what works at con and what doesn’t! I have a select few leftover prints, I’ll make a post about them later if maybe someone who didn’t had a chance to come is interested in getting some.
Anyways, thanks to all of you who came by to say hi, to shake hands or to hug and also to everybody who bought something! Thanks so much!
