Rat's Saucy Nest

Enjoy some clumsy Derpy!

That was fun to draw, thanks to everybody in the livestream for the help and the suggestions on how to make the picture more fun!

Double commission for MoonlightSilk. His OC Moonlight Silk before and after her transformation into the Changeling Temptation.

Drawing goo/slime is hard.

Enjoy!

Watched a lot of tutorial videos yesterday and today and doodled around with humans, cleaning up one of the sketches now. I’m so proud of it! And I really love how the eyes turned out.

Pose is incredibly static and generic, sorry for that, but humans are pretty much unknown territory for me, I’ve drawn a couple of them years ago before I started with ponies, but since then I barely had any practice.

Anyways, I worked too long on it already, need to finish a couple of commissions, then I can continue with it. But I really wanted to show it to you guys!

I am curious what tablet do you typically draw on that you find most comfortable. Sorry if you have stated it before I must have missed it then.

I use an Intuos 5 touch medium! The touch features rarely get used, and if then mostly just because my cat walked over it and accidentally activated them. But penhandling is amazing and very smooth.

Which of the two of you loves Apple pone more?
ratofponi ratofponi Said:

She’d say definitely herself, but I’m pretty sure it’s me!

I am the one who owns an orange Mary, after all.

Needed to get a quick drawing of Elsa out of my system. You can expect something prettier, naughtier and cleaned up at a later time.

Humans are hard. :( Back to Ponies for now!

I’m watching Frozen and I’m having the hugest crush ever on Elsa. I think I may try to draw her soonish.

Anna is super cute, too. But my heart skipped a beat at “Let It Go”, seriously.

Sorry for random. I’ll post new pony art very soon, promise!

Today we got an awesome Christmas present from our wedding planner!

I claimed the AJ one before my wife even saw what the present was.

So, rainbows are gonna be a thing, huh?

And Coco was cute!

Love the New Year's Applejack picture, but it looks like Tumblr converted the full size image to JPEG. Is there a PNG version available?
ratofponi ratofponi Said:

Argh, sorry about that. Silly tumblr.

PNG here.

Weeeee, look what I finally had in the mail today! <3 Sadly the Appledash mousepad is super pixelated. :( Otherwise everything is in such a great quality. The boobie-mousepad is way bigger than I expected it to be!

Really happy I can finally look through the book, I only checked out about half of the digital version, since I didn’t wanted to completely spoiler myself.

And now the wait for the Canter Calendar 2014 begins.

First sunrise of 2014! Or also known as “The sky ships Appledash!”

Sorry, I’m seriously sleep deprived because SOMEONE wanted to get up at 6am to see the sunrise with me. I don’t function well when I need to get up early, I start to think every silly little thing is way too funny and I talk too much. Like right now. I’m sorry.

Applejack partied a little bit too much to celebrate the start of this new year. Enjoy! I hope all of you had a nice New Year’s Eve and that all of you will have an amazing 2014!

Thanks for following me for my art throughout of 2013 and joining me in my journey of 2014. I promise to give my best while continuing to produce new art at a regular pace. And to be less procrastinating and more productive.

It’s supposed to be the ball from the Times Square Ball Drop.

So, and now I’m off to see the first sunrise of 2014 and then to go eat some breakfast. Yay!

Last chance to preorder the Playpony Issue 2!

The offbeatr campaign is in it’s last three hours. All of the stretch goals have been reached, so the magazine is gonna be filled to the brim with additional art! For example, Each Atryl and Siden are contributing an extra comic to it!

Missed Issue 1? Don’t worry, you can get it together with Issue 2 if you wish! Both issues are available as a printed magazine or digital files. Separate or combined.

For more details check out the offbeatr campaign here.
