Thank you guys for all the nice birthday wishes and heartfelt messages/asks. It means a whole lot! I’m gonna try to answer all of them privately, but there are a lot of them, so maybe some will fall through the cracks.
Had a great day thus far! Callisto took me out to play minigolf and game in an arcade this morning, and later we’re going out to eat and watch Pacific Rim (or World War Z or Olympus Has Fallen, not sure yet!) Most fun birthday in years.
We reached an overwhelming total of $3,090! I’m amazed. That covers the complete cost of me moving here and leaves around $600 that go towards paying the wedding. That’s such an incredibly big help. I’m overly emotional at the moment and very happy. Thank you, everyone. For donating, spreading the word and liking my artwork. It all means so much to me.
So, the stretch goal for $3k is definitely happening, no idea on the timetable yet, though! Need to figure out how to draw on skin first and do a couple of testruns.
Some interesting stats for the raffle:
Those are all the tickets that were in play. 144 people got 897 tickets in total, meaning the chance that one ticket in particular gets drawn is about 0.11%, so there’s a chance of about 0.80% to win one of the 7 prizes with only one ticket. (I think? I was never good at math.)
I’ve used a RNG to select the 7 winners and will email them shortly. Everyone who participated will also receive an email soon, confirming that they’re on the mailing list to receive the exclusive picture set later this month. So if you haven’t gotten an email by tomorrow, please let me know at ratofdrawn@gmail.com, so we can sort it out!

Finally established myself here. <3 Feels like home so much.
Love the new, big monitor, drawing is gonna be a blast with so much space. (had a small 17" 5:4 one back home.) Now I actually can livestream and draw at the same time comfortably! I also plan on adding a small second screen to the setup.

I’m still overwhelmed that we reached the $2,500 goal, thus financing my move here. Thank you guys so very much. When I created the event, I added the $3k and $5k stretch goals as a small joke, thinking I’ll never reach them anyways, and now we’re actually almost hitting the $3k goal! My fiancee is gonna smack me if we do though, but I think that’s worth it! (Don’t worry, she’s obviously on board with it, but she likes to smack me.)

I think I had the biggest possible welcome to the United States yesterday.
Celebrating my first 4th of July was (hella) amazing! We found a nice place near the Golden Gate Bridge to watch the fireworks over San Francisco.
I arrived safely, had almost no sleep those past few days, though. But I’m slowly getting accustomed to my life here. I still have much to do and a lot of errands to run, but I think I’ll be able to resume drawing in the next days. Can’t wait!
