I’ll probably go back and forth for a long time to come, not only on the question on how to portrait private parts. I like to try new things and in general draw what I’m in the mood for. For example, sometimes I’m in the mood for teats, but most of the time I’m not. Same with equine looking vaginas. I tried to find somewhat of a middle ground with them, but as of lately I’m more often trying to somewhat emulate equine ones, inspired by kev and ecmajor and many other great artists, for example.

My whole style is all over the place since I started drawing ponies. Basically I’m just along for the ride to create new and interesting stuff that I’m in the mood for. And I’m never quite sure where my next drawing is gonna take me.

But I try to make progress and become gradually better at doing stuff. Even if my preferences for candy colored ponyvags changes weekly.

And for the record: The closeup of Futashy I did a while back had a human penis. But I think they look even more strange on a pony than the equine ones do.

Finished Sketch of my current project. There’s also gonna be a SFW version. I’m so in love with the crystal ponies’ design. I can’t wait to start coloring it, making the coat all glittery and shiny and everything.

What do y'all think, do crystal ponies have fur? Or becomes the coat crystal-like? It certainly looks like it’s a hard, crystal-like surface, but I also love my ponies fluffy. Doing the little fur-things on the outlines made me realize that it somewhat looks a bit unrealistic like that. And that maybe a smooth surface would be more logical. But after all we are talking about sexualized, candy colored, magical cartoon ponies who sparkle in the sunlight like a 21st century vampire. What would y'all prefer? Fluffy or non-fluffy?

You mean like Blowsy (and here) or Spaerkpone or Kneaded Rubber (together with Blowsy) or Chrome and IE pony? And if you count Futashy as an OC, I did her too.

I’ve only drawn OC’s I have a more or less personal connection to. (Well, besides Chrome x IE, but that’s an adorable ship and that’s why) And I think it would be very strange for me to spend a lot of time on drawing a character that’s absolutely random and unimportant to me when I could use this time instead to draw something that’s important to me.

(Obviously commissions are an exception to this, because a commission is automatically important to me, no matter which character I’m drawing)
