>Being a cat owner.
Ugh, woke up this morning to one of my cats (the asshole one) shredding my left arm to pieces.
More to the story and bloody picture after the break, so trigger warning or something.
My other cat was sleeping on my pillow next to my head, the asshole cat was further down the bed, next to my hip. I assume they got into a staring contest while my arm was in between them. And then I probably moved my arm in my sleep while they were riling each other up, it must’ve triggered the asshole cat and he attacked, latched onto my arm with his back legs and tore into it with his front paws and teeth. What a nightmarish way to wake up, I’ve been in a fair share of pain in my life (broken bones), but nothing quite compares to being violently awakened like that. By the time I realized what was going on and managed to grab the back of his neck to pull him away from me, it was already over. After throwing him off the bed he jumped back up and started purring and wanted cuddles. I guess that’s his way to apologize? What an asshole. Thank god my wife only left for work 5 minutes earlier, so she was able to turn around and help me disinfect and dress my wounds.

That’s how it looked after cleaning up the blood, ugh. And that’s just one side, the other side of the arm is riddled with bite marks. Fucking cat. People are gonna think I tried killing myself.
I’m glad my Tetanus shot is up to date. Now here’s hoping the wounds won’t get infected, I’ve read cat bites can be super nasty. I’m glad happy it was my left arm and not my right, I’d be completely unable to draw for a while, it still hurts like a bitch. And on top of that, if you’ve ever been scratched by cat, you know cat scratches itch pretty badly, too. Ugh. Fucking cat.
Anyways, drawing will probably be a little more slow the next few days.
My life, ladies and gentlemen.
