Rat's Saucy Nest

All characters drawn and posted here are of fictional nature and are depicted as consenting adults over the age of 21.

TFW no one notices that RD’s wings are missing. And me and Tcherno looked at variations of that picture for a long time.

At least I can say it’s just a rough concept to get the idea across and I was totally aware that the wings are missing.

But seriously, that happens so much to me, why is it so easy to forget about drawing wings?

  1. srk-ares answered: my guesses 1)wings are hard 2)2 of the 3 (3.5) races dont have them 3)spending more time on the head makes you notice missing unicorn horns
  2. shunkawarakin answered: BELIEVE me this does NOT only happen to you.
  3. eyethelunatic answered: too focused at the sexy part?
  4. nifponies answered: I didn’t even realize it was Dash - I’m so used to Mac doing the plowing where Applejack is involved.
  5. another-sketchpad answered: It’s not just you. I do that all the time. I guess it’s because they sont look abviosly wrong without wings, it’s still a valid pony.
  6. triblademaster answered: maybe cause they are kind of a pain and not really a natual part of pony/horse anatomy. Usually not the focusof the image either.
  7. huntacular answered: Because you wanna put Rarity in there instead of RD!
  8. el-yeguero answered: I got a habit of checking three things before claiming a pony picture finished: wings, horns, cutie marks. Very useful habit :)
