I shipped Rarijack since I saw S01E08 (Look Before You Sleep) two years ago, but my love for Appledash was really big too, plus there wasn’t really much love for Rarijack in the fandom back then, because it was almost exclusively a crack pairing. So I jumped on the Appledash bandwagon (and probably helped shape it, at least that’s what some people tell me) and never looked back. Well, at least until WhiteDiamonds started showing up and drawing the most lovely Rarijack there is. And the Scene in S03E02 opened the floodgates completely. <3
So to answer your question, I probably always was a Rarijack shipper, but I’m no die-hard about shipping, so I don’t have any problems at all sailing multiple ships simultaneously. (i.E. Rarijack and Appledash)
I still adore Appledash a lot. The reason why I draw so much more Rarijack than Appledash art so much lately is because I enjoy the freshness, I think. And I hate to draw Rainbow’s mane and tail. There I said it.
I enjoy a lot of ships and dislike almost none, and I really don’t have a problem with seeing another ship than “mine”. So this whole shipping thing isn’t that big of a deal to me, and never really was to be honest.
