Babscon was great! I got to meet Lauren Faust and talk to her for a bit. Here’s a picture of her with the Guest of Honor Badge that I designed! It was amazing seeing those famous people wearing a piece of my art.
I met so many cool people and had the best table neighbors ever. So many people came to say hi, big thanks to all of you, it meant so much to me! And huge thankyou to everyone who bought something. I can’t believe how popular the Ember button was! I have to draw a full picture of her really soon.
Also the art show was a huge success, thanks so much to everyone who bid on my art! Oh, and if the guy who won the GoH Badge piece is reading this, could you maybe send me a photo of it? I forgot to take one myself and since it’s a one of a kind piece I’d love to have one for my collection! That would be awesome!
Also quite a few people complimented my wife on her fics and she got so flustered every time and she was so incredibly happy that people recognized her and remembered her fics. It was so cute!
Hanging out with with friends and fellow horsefuckers after the con was a lot of fun. Talking about our art and clopfics over Pizza, chatting at the Klingon roomparty, marveling over the creation of the Rainbow Dash cum jar drink in the /mlp/ party, enjoying the 18+ Fanfic panel, etc was so much fun. You guys are seriously the nicest people. Also finally getting to meet some people that I ever only interacted with over Skype or Tumblr before was nice, and of course seeing old faces again was really nice. I’m very introvert and I don’t like socializing too much, but at conventions everybody is always super nice to me and I really loved hanging out with all of you.
Also huge shout out to Discord, Chelis and everyone involved who made the After Dark Sale a possibility for us artists. It was great and I truly can’t thank you enough! I’m really looking forward to next year. I had prints of my Judy picture available and it was really popular, made me happy to see that people not only like my pony stuff but also my other art.
And award for the best con attendee definitely goes to the cutest little remote controlled Applejack truck ever. It’s like BB-8 had a kid with Applejack!
I do have some prints and buttons left over, also a handful of magnets and postcards. I’ll make an after con online sales post in a few days! Stay tuned if you’re interested!
And now back to drawing, I have lots of commissions to catch up on!

If you go looking for love, every little relationship you enter will have that pressure of an end goal. So make friends instead! Not aloof perfect gorgeous beings you want to see yourself married to, but people who you like hanging out and playing video games with. People you can walk around with in Walmart for an hour and have a surprisingly great time. Work to make friends, not potential future lovers. Then later, maybe that friend you’ve had forever actually ends being the one you wanna be with.
So, yeah! Don’t start by flirting, don’t start by sorting by appearance. Start by finding people you just naturally like talking to, I think!
Can confirm. I found love when I stopped looking for it. Friends are also more valuable than potential romantic interests. And it’s definitely not too rare that love develops out of a close friendship. Just don’t go into a friendship hoping for it to develop into a romantic relationship.
As for the Walmart part, that’s what struck a chord with me and made me reblog this. I realized I found someone really special in the woman I ended up marrying when we were walking around in a Walmart at midnight and were having an amazing time. And to this day, every time we go grocery shopping or doing some other mundane everyday life stuff we’re still having a great time. Because I got married to one of my best friends. And seriously, when a friendship doesn’t end up turning into a romantic relationship, that’s no loss at all. You’ll have something invaluable and powerful, a real friendship.
I never quite understood the people who formed a romantic relationship with someone they wouldn’t want to be friends with in the first place. And sadly that’s awfully common.

Regarding that discussion, I also personally think that masturbation is something completely detached and different than sex. I don’t think masturbation is there to replace or imitate sex, it’s its own thing with its own desires and satisfactions. Masturbation is part of your sex life and in my opinion pretty important. I don’t think it can (and should) be replaced by sex (or the other way around). But again, different tastes and opinions. I know some people who quit masturbating when they’re in a sexual relationship. (Or even demand of their partner that they quit masturbating because of insecurities or jealousy, like wtf?!) I’m different than that, because I think masturbation is an important part of sexual health, as long as you don’t completely overdo it, but that goes for everything.
So when I said “it’s not comparable” I’m not grading it or saying anything about quality or if it’s better/worse than actual sex, I’m saying it’s on a completely different playing field. It’s like comparing Football to Soccer. Both are played on a grassy surface, but they have completely different stadiums, rulesets, players, play time and goals.
Today I got GTA V for PC and spent all my time and ingame money on buying clothes and dressing up my char and customizing cars… And now it’s time to go back to drawing.

A little bit, yes! Of course it’s simplified and emphasized in my art. But if you google it (especially vulvar winking) you can see it pretty well. Sometimes the clit even looks like a tongue. Anatomy is weird. I think it highly depends on the individual horse and the breed though, there’s a lot of genital variety, just like in humans. Sadly that’s something not a lot of people realize, I also fall into this trap and draw ‘same-vag’ way too often. And don’t get me started on people thinking all girls’ genitals look the same.
A human’s clitoris can look split too, btw!
But yeah, keep in mind that the genitals I draw are purely fictional, they resemble both equine and human anatomy. I’m not drawing something that exists in real life, I draw a weird mix between equine and human anatomy for the sake of art and because ponies are a mix between human and equine in my mind. They show characteristics from both species. Since they’re fictional creatures, I think the genitals can be just as fictional. For example I place the urethra where it should be on a human, in a horse it would be way deeper inside. And I overemphasize the vulvar winking, in reality horses do that only when they’re in heat or peeing, but in pretty much all of my pictures the clitoris appears external, because I like clitorises, they’re fun to draw.
Sometimes I’m also more in the mood for human-like genitals, so I push them a bit more in that direction, and sometimes I wanna try new and crazy things and push them in the other direction. Basically I just do what I’m in the mood for and think is fun to draw!
